Fix Xbox 360 Red Light Review
Fix Xbox 360 Red Light Review
Why did I have to figure out how to fix my Xbox 360 red light? Because of the red ring.
One of the most aggravating things a person can see when they’re in the midst of a first-person shooter game like, oh, I don’t know, Left 4 Dead, and then that antagonist of a color flashes in your face just to say hello and you have the sudden, overwhelming urge to chuck it across the room because, guess what?
Your pride-and-joy Xbox 360 is out of comission and you just want to kill its maker…not that I would know. :-} Except I do, and there was only one thing to do, since my cash was tied up into my “games-and-rent” account: go to Google, type in “Fix Xbox 360 red light”, and hope that something cheap and easy comes up.
Luckily, the gaming gods were in favor of me that day, perhaps a little sorry for their previous let’s-screw-up-her-Xbox scam. I found a site that promised me an answer, just like they all do, but it was about 100 bucks cheaper than it would have been to send it in to that bloody maker.
Plus, it came with a total-money refund, which I was totally down for since most of these things never turn out. I ordered the guide, which was sent immediately, along with a few vids and a PDF file. I absolutely HATE directions. I hate to read them and follow them, but there was really nothing else to do: I cracked open the book.
And was pleasantly surprised. It was totally easy to follow and I got my little sweetheart purring again in about forty-five minutes. It was like a miracle. I mean, yeah, it was hell for the couple of days that I didn’t have her, but that just made it so much sweeter when I got to resurect her, you know?
The guide also came with some other pretty bad-ass fixer tips for things like
*overheating consoles (a bonus, considering mine sits on a rug…not the smartest of things, but it’s happy there^.^)
*freeze-ups
*Graphics Glitches (total pain in the ass–one of those wtf sort of deals, especially considering what year it is. I’m sure you can relate.)
*E74 errors
*and the smaller, but still demonic 2 red light.
The whole thing was really easy, and it was only really tainted with my withdrawals:-/ (I know, that’s really sad. When my Xbox was “sleeping” I started thinking that I might need to cut back on my game time–but that sort of got shot to hell when I got it was revived.)
The coolest part I think, actually, with the included bonus crap, was the PDF because it came with pictures (for the illiterate;-)) and it was really easy to follow. The guide was sort of a reinforcement…and, admittedly a comfort thing. What? I had to have something to put my thumbs on.
There’s also like full time online support (for the truly obsessed), which was cool but it wasn’t really necesarry. Thanks to the whole system, I was able to fix xbox 360 red light problem, despite it’s seemingly gordian knot aspects. Now I can go back to joyously shooting zombies with my friends.
Wholesome activities are so overrated:-P
